The young leaves are harvested and dried, While white tea is renowned for being elegant or nuanced, it can also be bold in the case of Bai Mu Dan. I recall an incredible 1988 Fuding Bai Mu Dan that was gifted to me. It was the most incredible full-bodied and layered white tea I had ever experienced. It still is to this day!
