Ancient taste Tie Guan Yin
Ancient taste Tie Guan Yin
Back to An Xi old times! Processed as it used to be processed back in the old days, we decided to call this batch of tie guan yin "Ancient taste". Looking like a Wu Yi oolong tea, the tea exhibits all the main characters from the famous varietal: slight acidity and flowery aftertaste. The roasting level is high and is present in the mouth with a layer of toasted bread like aromas. The tea is full-bodied with a low sweetness and it needs a couple of brews to start showing his profile.
This Tie Guan Yin has been roasted enough so that it will be able to age without the need of another roasting session for quite a few years. We recommend to use Gong Fu style brewing.
