An ovni... Who would have thought that this tea, usually regarded as a "lower grade" oolong, could develop such a complex span of aromas. Clearly, the maker of this tea knewn about it and 17 years later. This aged Ben Shan attest of the potential of this tea varietal.
In mouth, the tea liquor is thick, mellow, and with a strong tea taste. The first couples of brews give more leathery and honey like aromas and after the 3rd brew the tea starts to open and release layers of fruit, flower but also precious wood. A trully unique oolong tea!
