On the contrary of Bai Mu Dan, Sow Mei is principaly made using big leaves. Aging white tea isn't somthing new. In Guang Dong province, Bai Hao Yin Zhen white tea has always been aged. And after some careful aging and because of the big leaves, sow mei becomes an entire different tea. The dark leaves with beautiful red hues deliver a dark liquor rounded and mellow with rich aromas such as dry red fruit and leather. A perfect companion for the evening but also and especially for the table.
